Hey there, C is for Cthulhu backer, hope you're having a wonderful Saturday!
Your friend, fellow cultist and C is for Cthulhu author "Uncle" Jason Ciaramella turns the BIG FOUR-O today.
One of the things we're trying to put together for him is the ultimate C is for Cthulhu compilation video of our fans saying "C is for Cthulhu."
Wanna be a part of it?
With your help, we've put the C is for Cthulhu Board Book, Plush Toy, and Coloring Book into the hands of thousands of cultists of all ages...
Now, we want to make the "Ultimate C is for Cthulhu" compilation Video of cultists young and old telling the world exactly what C is for!
Would you like to be a part of this Ultimate Compilation Video?
If so, all you need to do is:
1) Take a very short video of you and/or your little (or not so little) monsters saying loud and proud "C is for Cthulhu!"
Do they have trouble pronouncing the C word? Even better!
Here's an example video that was submitted yesterday. (Fun and cute, right?)
2) Using a camera phone? Be sure to turn it horizontal, not vertical when you film. Our video will be widescreen, so if you hold it wide, it'll look much better when we make the video!
3) Bonus points if you say "C is for Cthulhu" while holding C is for Cthulhu stuff related stuff.

Hey, there!
It's the C is for Cthulhu Team here wishing you a very happy holidays!
It's been a busy, busy, busy couple of months for us here (as I'm sure it's been for you) spent mostly figuring out the logistics of how to deliver life-size C is for Cthulhu Plush toys to 50 fans around the world.
It's freaking ridiculous how big this thing is... as C is for Cthulhu writer Jason Ciaramella finally found out himself.
And after being completely sold out of regular sized C is for Cthulhu plush toys for several months, and battling multiple shipping delays, we're thrilled to finally be back in stock and fully operational!
(Those limited edition Black dolls are even cooler than we expected!)
We're hard workers over here, and that doesn't often leave too much time for reflection...
But when you're cruising down the highway getting honks from other cars on the road because you've got a life-size Cthulhu riding shotgun, well, it's hard not to be incredibly grateful for the support of a an incredible fanbase who made it all happen.
The board book, coloring book, plush toys... and everything else... it would not exist without your support and enthusiasm.
We just topped the 20,000 fans mark over on our Facebook page, which means we'll be able to do even more incredibly amazing stuff in 2017.
So, What's Coming Next Year?
As you know, we'll be releasing the next book in the C is for Cthulhu line of board books. Sweet Dreams Cthulhu: A Lovecraft Bedtime Story reunites writer Jason Ciaramella with artist Greg Murphy... and it looks AMAZING!
The book features many of the characters you'll recognize from the ABC board book, wrapped in a narrative about how to face your fears when you have trouble sleeping.
Another project we're SUPER EXCITED about for 2017 is producing a line of C is for Cthulhu Vinyl Figurines with our partners on the plush, Skelton Crew.
Israel Skelton (the guy with the impressive beard) was so amazing to work with on the plush toys, and has been doing great things with figures for other top properties (such as Image Comic's CHEW), that we've decided to work with him on creating a custom C is for Cthulhu figure.
We'll be seeking your input on design for the figures in the new year.
In addition to that, we're also going to be opening up a C is for Cthulhu Labs group composed of some of our biggest fans and advocates. The goal of the Labs group is to have a small group of fan/advisors/advocates who can get an early look at new stuff we're creating to provide feedback on it, and to also help spread the word about new projects once they launch, in exchange for discounts and other incentives.
We'll be opening up applications for being a part of that advisory group in the new year as well.
Again, it's been an amazing 2016 for the C is for Cthulhu family...
But now that it's almost in the rearview mirror, we're even more fired up about 2017!

4 GIANT C is for Cthulhu Plush Toys Looking for Homes in Europe/Asia/Australia!

Earlier this month, a crate full of C is for Cthulhu dolls was packed and shipped to the US... including the Giant C is for Cthulhu plush toys.
Unfortunately, those dolls were a little TOO giant... and there wasn't enough room for all of the big guys on the shipping container we booked.
Alas, 10 Giant Cthulhus had to wave goodbye from the shores of China, as the rest of their brothers made the slow journey to America.
As it turned out... this was a good thing in a way, because there were 6 international backers who ordered a Giant pledge, and we found out that we could get the Giant shipped direct from the factory to the European, Australian or Asian markets directly for $197 US.
(This was a lot better than the $1200 price tag if we tried to ship to international from the US.)
However, that still leaves 4 GIANT C is for Cthulhu Plush toys stranded at the factory in China in need of good homes.
Any takers?
If you're a backer living in EU, Asia, or Australia and would like a BIG Cthulhu to join your family, for the next few days, we're offering them for sale on a first come, first serve basis.

What about US Backers' Giant Plush Toys?
The rest of the Giant C is for Cthulhu Plush Toys are due to arrive in the States in early November on the shipment I mentioned above.
We've reached out to all current Giant Plush Toy backers about the unanticipated extra shipping costs associated with delivering these monstrosities.
We're still in the process of identifying our best options and negotiating with delivery companies for better rates.
We will be following up with current Giant Plush Toy Backers directly on those issues, and we thank you all for your patience and for working with us to resolve this issue.
Note: If you are a US backer and did NOT order a Giant C is for Cthulhu Plush but now that you see how awesome it is and know you need one under the tree this Xmas, we will be updating you soon about how to get one.
There will be a very small number of those available... and again, once they're gone, they're gone.
However, we want to make sure we've delivered all of our backers their Giant Dolls first before we make more US Dolls available.
Again... we appreciate your patience with us. You truly are the best.
Fulfillment Update: Home Stretch
Right now, I'm pleased to report that 93% of our pledges have been shipped!
And it's tremendous to see them arriving all over the world...

The latest shipment of plush toys and international books went out on 10/22, so if you haven't received yours yet, they should arrive any day now, which a few exceptions:
- There are 4 orders that included Purple plush toys that were unable to be shipped right away, because our fulfillment parter was shorted on purples. We've sent a replacement shipment, which should arrive soon and those 4 packages should go out next week.
- There are 29 backers who still haven't filled out their surveys, which is delaying those pledges.
- The 6 international Giant Plush Toys will ship next week.
- The 29 US Giant plush toys will ship in November, and we will be following up with those backers on logistics.
So, there is still some work to do, but the bulk of it is behind us!
Thanks again for helping us make the world a little more weird and lot more colorful!
